my record:4-1-1. got Holes at -135, a minute later it was at -145. There are a few people predicting Malibus Most Wanted will make a bit more than Holes, and one site has it as a one million favorite. Most people seem to think that Holes is going to out-perform MMW straight-up, though. Holes apparently is the #2 children's book behind the Harry Potter series, selling a couple of million copies. I'm going to agree with the consensus that MMW looks ****in lame and holes will surely do O.K. this weekend, which means it will probably beat it, unless the market for MMW is being underestimated. It seems to me that even the people that this movie is targeted to are going to look at the trailer and think it's stupid. Never seen home-boys cable comedy show, heard it was funny, but that doesn't make him a movie star. At the theaters people do laugh at MMW's trailer surprisingly quite a bit, but it has the opposite effect on me. I'm guessing it's going to bomb.
